Who we are
Respawno is an independent gaming publication covering PC hardware, build guides, troubleshooting, and game coverage. We are based in Detroit, Michigan, United States.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you email us or submit a contact form, we receive the details you choose to send — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to reply to you.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the time and date of your visit.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect payment information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them for two purposes:
- Analytics — to understand which articles are read and how people navigate the site.
- Advertising — to support the ads that fund our work.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from reading the site, though some preferences (such as your light or dark theme choice) may not persist between visits.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes technical data, including a truncated version of your IP address, to produce aggregate reports about how the site is used. We do not use it to identify individual readers.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertising.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
For more detail on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google's policy page.
